Law Student Outreach Committee

The Law Student Outreach Committee serves as a voice and intermediary to local AILA law student members as well as law schools in the area.  The Law Student Outreach Committee serves to promote events to local students.  The goal is to get students interested in being involved with AILA, promote networking opportunities for them, and allow them to get a better sense of the various roles immigration attorneys play.  The Committee will reach out to local law schools to promote the value of AILA membership, serve as a point of contact for students with questions, and work to help students as they transition from law school to their role as an immigration attorney. The Committee sets up networking events, law school panels, and law clerk trainings.
